I started working for best of seven in 2019 as a receptionist. I would watch the barbers all day and fell in love with the trade, after learning something from everyone here I enrolled into school just to get the paperwork all official. Now as of 2022 I am behind the chair and better than ever with my license in hand and ready to make you feel your best.
Hair has always been natural to me, almost every kid I know at the ripe age of 6 will cut their own hair right against the scalp leaving a nice bald spot front and center. However I had a vision I wanted to look like Velma from Scooby-Doo and knew what I wanted. So 6 year old me grabbed some craft scissors and just went for it, sure it needed to be straightened out a little but the barber my mom took me to was impressed that he didn’t have to shave me to say the least. So I’ll take that as a win. As a young teen I would often cut my brothers hair with said craft scissors, no way I would let him get too scruffy. Safe to say I needed the upgrade of professional tools and proper education. Now look at me taking on apprentice’s and leading the way for the next generation of barbers.
When I’m not behind the chair, I’m most likely found behind a camera, wether it’s a nice family shoot or dressing up my poor cat in silly outfits taking her pictures. My other hobby is drowning in art supplies and painting my next mural.
